Season 14 Auditions:
A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS - THE MUSICAL. Starlight Dinner Theatre will be holding auditions Saturday, September 22nd and Sunday, September 23rd, at 4 pm for the musical "A Charlie Brown Christmas". We are looking to cast characters between the ages 18 - 40. Musical Director is Kara Damon and Director is Linda Granger. We will be reading from the script and also ask that you bring a prepared song. We are hoping to cast 8-10 characters. The show is only 45 minutes long, so the rehearsals will not be as intense as a regular full length play or musical. Show dates are Saturday and Sunday, December 1, 2 8 & 9 - ALL performances at 2 pm. Auditions will be held at Rising Star Studio of Dance Arts, 526 Lentz Court 48917 off of W. St. Joe, approx 1/2 mile east of the Waverly Rd & W. St. Joe intersection. On the corner of Lentz Court and W. St. Joe is a small UAW hall. Auditions for Starlight Theatre’s musical revue "Red Carpet Melodies: Movie Music for the Young At Heart”, will be held Tuesday, October 16 and Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at the Waverly East Intermediate School auditorium, 3131 West Michigan Ave, Lansing, Michigan. Please bring piano accompaniment music for your audition on a song of your choice. We are seeking a cast of 10-12 male and female performers to sing solo and ensemble numbers. 
 
The musical revue is produced by Linda Granger, and directed by Dan Templin and Kelly Sandula-Gruner.  Show numbers will be selected from the American Film Institute’s list of top 100 Hollywood songs, and assigned to individual performers. Show dates are February 8, 9, and 10, 2019.
