Audience Comments

“You pulled off a spectacular production of Camelot. The set, the actors (oh, the voices were terrific!), the lighting, costumes. What a nice musical to be involved in. I felt I was right with the actors. I’ve watched it at the movies, and really didn’t feel involved and wasn’t “touched and interested”, but being so close with no distractions…I really appreciated having tickets to this show, and enjoyed it immensely.  The other three guests in my party also thought your crew did a bang up job with this demanding play. And our meal was delicious, and well organized.”
“ Camelot was an awesome performance – and exquisite costumes – it just made you feel as if you were right up there! I can’t imagine putting on such a wonderful show, all the preparation and so many, many details the audience doesn’t know what it entails. The cakes were delicious.  It shows just what a great “planner” you and your crew are – every one we have attended was wonderful, musical and comedy included.”
To All -- Bravo, Bravo -- That was one fantastic and funny musical production you all put on last Saturday night of "Nunsense."  We all laughed so hard and enjoyed ourselves so much at that show.. "Thank you all!"  Leann and Angela are so talented--they both have such great voices and are super Actors too.  And, everyone else in the cast did a top-notch job also.  The meal was great too..They have the best Desserts.  Thanks again to you all and we look forward to the next show in the Fall.  Have a great summer.
Sincerely, Don & Doris

Last evening our group of 11 Wild & Crazy Red Hat Ladies attended "Butterflies are Free."  We want you to know that, though we have always thought the plays were outstanding and the meals wonderful, we found our experience on Saturday, March 15 EXCEPTIONAL ~ play AND dinner.  We could not believe the amount of dialog those two young people memorized.  Wow!!  The play was GREAT fun and the meal was absolutely outstanding.  That beef was awesome and thanks for the sour cream.  We are all excited for the May 10th performance of "Nunsense."  It will be fun to attend with a room full of red hatters.  Marlene (re: Butterflies Are Free)
We thought “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” was darling. The back stage crew moved around swiftly with sooooo many bodies on stage. Outstanding job of redecorating with every scene. It was a charming play. We had such nice NEW table mates.  It was their first experience and we told them you have a beautiful evening every time. Sure glad you had full houses, it must be rewarding to see your baby just get better and better each year. Have a good winter and thank you again for pleasing us with such touching and humorous productions.  Gordon and Connie

"Hi Linda,  What a WONDERFUL evening you and your actors gave us!  The play was wonderful and the acting was GREAT.....Fairy Mae was a joy and Mrs Paddy was heartwarming... and Mrs Savage was someone I'd like to know....I LOVE to see such talented people share their gifts with others.  All my seniors really enjoyed the play. You folks keep up the OUTSTANDING work! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"  Nancy  (re: The Curious Savage)

"My husband and I saw The Curious Savage Saturday evening and it was so entertaining. It was funny, sometimes I had tears in my eyes! Just want to say what a wonderful job the cast and all the crew did. All the actors and actresses were so well suited to their parts. What an enjoyable evening." Gene & Betty (re: The Curious Savage)
"Great show - loved the blocking, the choreography of the ending, the characters!"  Mara (re:  Fox on the Fairway)
"This show is LOL funny!  Congratulations Starlight on another great season!"  Susan (re:  Fox on the Fairway)
"Dear Linda, just arrived home from watching Steel Magnolias at your wonderful Starlight Dinner Theatre.  Such a great performance.  Haven't laughed so hard or had so many tears running down my face in a long time.  You all did good.  Tina Brenner's grief scene in the last act really hit home.  Thank you for giving Delta Township people access to your Theatre."   Eleanor (re: Steel Magnolias)
"We  attended "Steel Magnolias" and what a show it was!  We were most impressed with everything:  the meal of Southern Fried chicken and the quality of the actors in their roles.  I first saw the movie in the  theater and cried when Shelby died and cried at the play when Shelby died. And, the angst displayed by 'M'Lynn wanting to "hit something" and the humor that brought smiles through the tears....priceless!  Congratulations and thank you.  We are looking forward to seeing what March will bring. One thing for certain:  We'll be there.  Thanks again.  Have a wonderful Holiday Season."  Tim (re: Steel Magnolias)
"Linda I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed the performance of "Steel Magnolias" on Friday. The cast was fantastic and I laughed and cried just as I knew I would. The four of us had a great time. Please extend our congratulations to both the cast and the crew for a fantastic performance and to the caterer for a delicious meal. Very much looking forward to the next performance. Best wishes to all."  Carol

"Hallelujah Girls: What a fantastic production.  I didn't think anything could top the last dinner/theatre (Agatha Christie)... It was astounding, but tonight's was equal to an award also.  I am so glad that we have you and Starlight.  It's been fun and so worth our time and money.  Our neighbors sat with us, and they thanked us over and over again for the Christmas tickets.  The food was delicious, the servers are always attentive and helpful, the set was so darn cute, the lighting and sound perfect, costumes darling... everything PROFESSIONAL. I couldn't have made better stained glass windows than you had in the play!! (and I've been doing it for 34 years!!)  They were great, and the hanging church lamps with the cross on them were the finishing touch!! Thanks for providing comic entertainment, it's so much fun to laugh.  You are fabulous!!"  Connie (re: The Hallelujah Girls)
"We recently spent a delightful evening enjoying "A Murder Is Announced" at the Starlight Dinner Theatre.  It was our first time there, but not our last.  Everything was excellent - the dinner (and wonderful desserts), the stage set, the costumes and most important, the play itself.  The acting was great - very professional.  We look forward to the next performance with great anticipation!  Thanks for a lovely evening." Gwen (re: A Murder is Announced)

"It was a memorable evening in so many ways, from the 'starlight' atmosphere when I walked in, to the company of friends at our tables sharing a great meal.  After our choice of dessert, the play started and we were all transformed to the 1930's in grand style, thanks to Miss Marple, (played superbly by Winifred Olds) and by intermission, everyone had their pads of paper out checking off who we all thought did it.  Thanks for an experience I'll never forget!  Very cool!  It was a memorable evening in many ways. A great meal, good atmosphere, delightful company, and a wonderful play that kept me entertained every minute.  Thanks."  Steve (re:  A Murder is Announced)
