This comedy–drama pictures the strength and bond among a group of Southern women who are as delicate as magnolias but as tough as steel. We see them laugh and cry together through the events in their life at the best beauty shop in town where the owner believes, “There is no such thing as natural beauty”.
We meet the new assistant who announces, “Miss Truvy, I promise that my personal tragedy will not interfere with my ability to do good hair.” And the matron of the bunch declares, “I'm not crazy; I've just been in a very bad mood 40 years!” |

The Curious Savage is the warm-hearted tale of Mrs. Ethel Savage, a slightly
eccentric, extremely wealthy widow. Being the recipient of her deceased husband’s estate, she wants to make the best use of it despite her greedy step-children’s selfish attempts to get their hands on it. They commit her to a “sanitarium” in the hopes of shocking her to her senses. There she meets a variety of social misfits, all needing exactly the kind of help Mrs. Savage can provide and who eventually appear more sane than those outside the walls of the institution. With the help of her new-found friends, Mrs. Savage leads her step-children on a merry chase! A lovely story about what it means to be family. |

A tribute to the great English farces of the 30’s and 40’s, The Fox on the Fairway takes audiences on a hilarious romp which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it's a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brothers' classics. Ludwig presents a golf tournament beset with ill-advised wagers, lovers’ quarrels, overheard secrets, a battle-ax who’s a sucker for compliments, and the all-too-convenient and coincidental surprise ending.
