Season 4: 2008-2009

Opal's Baby - October 3-4 & 10-11, 2008
Directed by Linda Granger
Opal Kronkie is a wonderfully naive and wise lady living in her tumbledown home at the edge of a dump.  She sits in her rocker and tells us about life.  Opal has seen fine and not-so-fine characters in her time.  She believes that "there ain't such a thing as a bad human being - just a few models that need to be recalled."  In this story, Opal becomes the victim of a family of rural conmen who think she is easy prey.  Did they ever pick the wrong victim!  Needless to say, the "plot thickens" hilariously that happily all ends well, at least for Opal, who emerges safe, sound and ready for whatever is next!

Christmas Belles - December 5-6 & 12-13, 2008
Directed by Connie Curran-Oesterle
Starring the "Futurele sisters": Emily English, Jane Goebel & Linda Granger.  Sequel to the OLD OUT performances of Dearly Beloved last season.  Christ Belles finds the Futurelle sisters not exactly in a festive mode.  A cranky Frankie is weeks overdue with her second set of twins.  Twink, recently jilted and bitter, is in jail for inadvertently burning down half the town.  And hot-flash-suffering Honey Raye is desperately trying to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb's Christmas Program for spiraling into chaos.  But in true Futurelle fashion, the feuding sisters find a way to pull together and present a Christmas program Fayro will never froget.  A show guarananteed to bring joy to your world!

But Why Bump of Barnaby - April 24-25 & May 1-2, 2009
Directed by Linda Granger
This lunatic show poses a fascinating mystery.  Barnaby is murdered at a family gathering at Marlate Manor.  He had a motive to murder everybody else but no one had a reason to want him dead.  While dying, he scrawled the letters b a r which implicates everyone.  While the bizarre group frantically tries to unmask the murderer, people vanish, poison is found in the sherry and the police take forever to arrive.  Meanwhile there's a secret treasure to be found, a mystifying limerick to decode and all sorts of doom to be avoided before the killer is finally unmasked and destroyed using one of the funniest methods ever seen on stage.
