I Do! I Do! is a two-character musical by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt that chronicles 50 years of marriage, from a wedding in 1895 to moving out in 1945. The plot follows Agnes and Michael through wedding night jitters, raising children, infidelity, and midlife crises, ultimately highlighting their enduring love and need for each other.

It Had to Be You, a comedy by Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna, follows Theda Blau, a struggling, eccentric B-movie actress and aspiring playwright in New York. On Christmas Eve, she forces Vito Pignoli, a successful, straight-laced commercial director, to become her partner in both art and love by holding him hostage in her apartment.

Send Me No Flowers is a comedy play about George Kimball, a suburban hypochondriac who mistakenly believes he has only weeks to live after overhearing his doctor discuss another patient's fatal heart condition. Panic-stricken, George secretly arranges to find a new husband for his wife, Judy, to ensure she is taken care of, leading to chaotic misunderstandings, including a fake affair, before the truth is revealed.

William Inge's play Picnic follows a handsome drifter, Hal Carter, who arrives in a small Kansas town on Labor Day and disrupts the lives of the women, particularly the Owens family, sparking dormant desires, questioning societal norms, and forcing choices about love, beauty, and independence, culminating in a passionate encounter and poignant decisions at the town's annual picnic.
